Comus help?

Anyone ever have this problem and know how to solve it?

I get to the Comus Thumbs Check Script Requirements page, and everything is green, but when I click the links to continue, it appears to be loading, but then nothing happens and I'm stuck on that page. :helpme

I was just now trying to do that..I thought I had before but I double checked and it wasn't done..apparently because that "operation is not permitted" which is the error I'm getting now. Why do I have this problem with my permissions every time I do a browser install of any script? Had the same problem with wordpress, mambo, and another one I can't now remember.

*chuckle* no free trial, though.

try a diffrent ftp program if you can't cmod the files.. I use 3D FTP. Also try another browser if you have the same issues with other programs.

Maybe this is a problem with your hosting provider?

Try a different FTP client, like http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

Good luck.

If you want control of your server, learn how to use the shell.

There is always help from sixzeros and they do have a support board.

Tried a different ftp client...tried installing with a different browser. Still no go. I have contacted my host. *shrug* Thanks for the assistance. :)

try using ssh, cd to the root dir of the site (where you can see the actual ct dir and type chmod -Rf 777 ct this will chmod the ct dir and the files in it to 777.

As for the support im handling that for the board support and the paid support. Tony does mostly coding these days and doesnt come to the board unless i send him a topic link.

If you can`t get it solved hit me up on icq and i`ll see what i can do for ya.
