Open Letter To All Internext Hollywood 2005 Attendees and Users of this Site

I would like to apologize for having behaved like a drunken lout and embarrassment to my company, www.2much.net, on the first night and day of this year?s tradeshow.

I had no excuse and certainly no reason for having done that, and while some might have been amused - others were probably not. To them I doubly apologize, and hope it?s not for having spoiled an otherwise good show.

To friends I may have vexed ? thanks for keeping cool heads with me the rest of the show, and I certainly hope you all accept my apology. Truly I regret hurting anyone?s feelings or impression of their relationship with me.

While I deserve what happened while lying in that beach chair drunkenly passed out, and more (thanks to those there for not taking it any further), 2much and the good people who were with us and company members dependent on a solid and successful enterprise like ours certainly don?t deserve the bad impression and negative attention an act of idiocy of this caliber can produce.

To them and those to whom this was more than a stupid college prank but stupid unprofessional behaviour, I want to really ask forgiveness, on grounds that it won?t ever go that way again. For those who might be hurt professionally or personally I also ask the moderator/webmaster of this board to delete this thread, just so those whose fault it wasn?t won?t pay for something they had no control over. I?m already facing my own shame and difficulty with forgiveness.

My actions were not a reflection of the quality of work or people who make up the 2much team, nor should it become a reflection of my friends and associates? qualities as both people and professionals.

While I should probably be asked to leave 2much, I certainly don?t want that to happen and hope that the company that has formed around me can still accept me there.

I don?t know how to end this except to make final apologies and ask that while I may have been dumb and insensate, I certainly am not that and hope everyone can overlook the incident and give me the opportunity to show it.

I couldn't believe that security just left you there ... it's good to see your ok ..

Nothing wrong with losing your mind on booze every once in a while. It keeps me sane. I think you are taking it too hard. You just need to find more appropriate places to pass out.

I saw the video. Albeit funny, I really didn't see what the big deal was. I've seen much worse. Don't be too hard on yourself, but you may want to watch your drinking from now on to save yourself the embarrassment and employment. ;-)

When I saw that video, if anything Greg, I was embarrassed FOR you and worried when I saw you and Mark talking that I wasn't gonna see you at another show.

I hope that's not the case 'cause I know you have a good head on your shoulders, but the environment (yeah it's an excuse) can cause the best of us to lose touch as to why we're there.

Had I been there, THIS time, I would have taken Cory's lead in Montreal and gotten you the hell out of there, but I didn't see it until today.

i would have reacted a bit more violently if i woke up to people putting ketchup on my head. then again, i would not have passed out in a public place.

I ended up in the E.R. & my stomach pumped at Nina & Ricks NYC party a few years ago....i casually slipped out the door & no one even saw me. I took 2 bottles of grey goose to the face & half a bottle of bombay gin (thanks isprime!)

When you get to the point you can't stand up anymore, get to the hospital or get back in your fucking room.

Learn from it & be a man....& whoever punked you out & put lipstick on ya.....find them & fuck em up. Otherwise you'll never get any respect in this biz.

Personally, if I were your boss you'd be OUT. And I certainly wouldn't let you post a public apology to draw attention for those who initially didn't even know about it. That's just me though.

I don't know you at all. Never met you. But I can tell you one thing. The only impressions that I have of you or your company is visions of lipstick all over your head and now picturing you passed out on the beach or whatever. If I needed to contact someone from your company to do something serious, you're the last one I would go to. I'm seriously not trying to be mean. Just giving you an example of how others might feel too having not even met you.

The lipstick thing was kinda humorous but doing this a SECOND time? I dunno, I have been drunk off my ass but I can't even imagine being so sloshed that you're falling down or passing out or whatever.

You should try to give yourself some personal rules or something for the conventions. Like don't drink till a certain time, maybe after dinner at least. And a time to stop. Or try to keep it to a drink an hour or something. Maybe beer only if it's the liquor that does this to you. Because that is completely losing control. If you can't handle your alcohol, don't drink. Do you do that at home when you go out to the bar or whatever? I'm curious. Some peoples bodies just can't handle it.

second, i have never heard of 2much until now, and would have never heard it unless i watched that video and saw it on your shirt, and also saw it in your post here...and I don't think I am the only one...while this is bad press, it still is press, and I can almost guarantee there were more than a couple sign ups to 2much in the past day from this post and video alone

third, whoever said he needs to be fire for getting drunk and passing out should be fired from whatever they are doing, cause they are NO FUN! LOL

I understand what you're saying and I tried to be careful how I worded that. I said "If I were your boss" and "I don't know you" and "We need to watch out for each other better"... and When I say "You'd be OUT" I didn't say fired. He definately would not be going to any shows at least for a while. He'd be at the office pushin papers and doing janitorial duties to make up for it.

I don't think he intentionally meant to make an ass out of himself or his company. But you gotta buck up and figure out how to do something different next time because this is obviously a repeated thing.

Once someone is at that point where they don't even know where they are or what their name is, though, someone needed to step up and help the guy out. I mean I wasn't there so I don't know what happened but WTF... Like I said if that happened to me, I sure hope someone would get me the fuck outta there.
