Do any affiliate program provide reviews of their site?
 

Steve Lightspeed in that $3000 review thread got me thinking, do any affiliate programs provide reviews of their paysites? I have a website reviews section in one my blogs, and would LOVE if I could just grab a review of a paysite from the affiliate area and slap it in the blog

Most affiliates will allow you to enter the member area with a temp pass and conduct your own, and if they won't well then you shouldn't be promoting them.

Not that I know of but they SHOULD. I suggested this to a sponsor about 8 months ago and still waiting LOL

oh, i know that...but it was more of a thought to take time off my hands

if they are willing to do it for me, and make it seem like a real review, then it makes my life a little easier

^ Providing passwords to paysites is and never was a problem, affiliates should just ask.

Heh, if you were to get a review to copy/paste into your page, you would just be like every other affiliate providing the same reviews thus dropping your integrity and losing bookmarkers trust.

i agree, but at the same time, i have already had 2 program reps contact me and are going to write review specifically for me, custom shit...so that works nicely

I'd hope the affiliates can modify the text a bit so it doesn't appear to be flat out plagarism.

Any particular niches or just general? I can probably make this happen.

It would not be plagiarism if the sponsors provided them as affiliate tools, either way, bad idea.



JaceXXX I am glad those sponsors are willing to help. :thumbsup to Steve as I know he stated in the other thread that he would write some.

I've got some reviews of most of our sites tucked away somewhere in a zip file. Some may need editing, and we've got more sites now, but if you want them then hit me up tomorrow 9-5 eastern time.
And yes I would always recommend editing any provided text promo where possible, so you can make it your own. Make it fit your site, and make it unique in the eyes of SE bots.

there are no shortcuts for this... invest time/money and you'll reap the benefits. otherwise, you'll be shooting yourself in the feet in the long run.
