InterNext shout-outs remind me of...
 

the last day of 8th grade. Everyone got their year books out and ran around the cafeteria collecting autographs, funny quotes, touching memories, etc from their friends.

I'm not hating at all. Just commenting. And chuckling.

Yup... "shout outs" used to be along the lines of thanking people who bought them stuff, hosted a party... stuff like that.

Now "shout outs" are "I met this guy and talked to him for 17 seconds, so I'd like to give a shout out to him... nice meeting you!" and "I've known this guy for 20+ years, we hung out and talked about match sticks by the pool, so I'd like to give him a shout out."

Stuart I'd like to give you a shout-out here quick. I was within 5 feet of you once. I don't think we spoke to each other, maybe a simple "hello", but just being in your presence was remarkable. I took home so much from that show just knowing that I was within spitting range of Stuart.

Wow. Just wow.

do people even read the "shout outs"? i know i dont. i just like to think that everyone i met had a good time with me. if they didnt, oh well. lol

i can never remember all that. thats why i normally take all kinds of pics and just psot those instead. forgot the camera, so im undercover. i like reading the long ones that other people post because it helps me to follow up with people that i didn't get cards from or whatever.
