Lol its probably the fact that he was going at least 150mph or more. When he went airborne he was still going over 100mph and the front end came down low and spinning fast which projected him up even higher.

those cars are like planes designed to fly on ground, the only thing keeping them on the ground is their spoilers and any air getting under them will lift them like a piece of paper and it's spin/flip city.
