PPS $35 = Fast money
REV 50/60 = Long term money

If your surfer rebills, you will get $15/20 then when he rebills again next month, you get another $15/$20 and so on.

BTW. You should know the difference between a PSS program & a Rev share program after almost 2 years ( you joined Oct 2003 ) :winkwink:

Lol. Correct. Conversely, if someone signs up for a trial and then rebills for 24 months straight, you would make $360+ off that member, as opposed to the flat $35 you would have made on PPS.

I obviously know the fucking difference I just didnt realize it was a trial signup therefore being such a small amount...

Sosa 08-08-2005 04:32 PM

alot of programs have small trials like that.

Now wait a couple days and watch that surfer rebill! Month after month after month.

If you want to toy with both pps and rev share and compare how they do, just "add a new campaign" when you go to generate your codes.

Let me know if you have any questions even though everyone here is answering you correctly :)

Thanks guys!

RRRED 08-08-2005 04:38 PM

I just talked to someone about that site yesterday because he's about to shoot off some galleries for it. Mind if I tell him your ratio?

Reality Cash is awsome.

68 signups at 1:118 last month

Lensman 08-08-2005 05:19 PM

Revshare vs. PPS, a question for the ages.

RealityCash pays either because RealityCash generates enough retention and revenue from the customer to be able to pay $35 per trial and make money. (I don't know of any major sponsor using Nats that does) What that means is that we retain well enough to make our revshare program pay well too. Revshare programs that do not offer a PPS option may not do so because they may not retain well enough to be able to pay on trials. Am I making sense?

Or that you can upsell really well. Either way, I'm giving revshare a try this month to see how it goes.

Either way it's a win/win situation because Reality Cash converts like crazy. It's just a matter of how big you think you can win.

RRRED 08-08-2005 05:23 PM

And the reason for the long term recurrings is because the surfer isn't going to find the content anywhere else because it is 100% exclusive and shot by us.

I don't know any programs off the top of my head that update every single day either.

You can't go wrong with revshare over here and especially at 60%

StickyGreen 08-08-2005 05:28 PM

yea i think i might switch all my links to revshare...

StickyGreen 08-10-2005 06:50 PM

hell yea! the signup just converted from trial to full so its $25 now... :)

wedouglas 08-10-2005 06:57 PM

well the way i see it is...i just got $25 for a partnership signup after the 3 day trial, and thats only $10 less than pps...plus you have the chance of rebilling next month so it's probably better to do partnership. im doing a mix of both though.

I think the point with PPS is that programs have to prepay the webmasters for the traffic and joins. At 50 joins a day at $25 per signup would be $37500 payout a month without seeing a return of profit first. I dont think many new or smaller programs are able to afford this.

Revshare programs may convert great and members can retain for months, but they may not have the backup money to pay the money before the billing company actually gives it to them.

wedouglas 08-10-2005 07:04 PM

Yeah, Ive just had bad luck with trials in the past
