hey everybody
i'm new to "fucking myself" (the web site), and the biz.
so feel free to assinate my character (i have a good lawyer;)
anyway, i hope to be around for a while, so i dont want to shoot myself in the nuts by breaking the "rules"
for instance, how many galleries and how often can you submit to a tgp before you piss the owner off?
whats a good place to get content for galleries?
how big do you have to get before you're invited to the playboy mansion parties?

ok i'm babbleing now. so whats your 2cents?

Never submit more than ten gallerys a day to the tgps or they'll send you a warning email.

Ya but anything over 12 in one day and you are blacklisted and cut off.. TGP owners are a bunch of Sticklers most of the time. There is only that gap of 2 posts a day that determines warning and blacklisted.

There is no right answer. The only thing you can do is read the rules at the sight that ya are posting to.. Other then that it is diffrent everywhere...

be sure to submit the gallery 2-3 times under differnt names and emails about 6-7 times a day to make sure it gets listed

It's easy to find content for galleries, just buy a few copies of Hustler or Penthouse from 7-11 and get a scanning.

I want to know why every newb who gets into this assumes the "porn biz" is gallery submitting?

Is it because it so easy to make galleries a trained monkey could do it?

Where are they learning this, who is telling them gallery making is the future?

It's the natural progression from "freeloading surfer" to "porn giant". They've never paid a cent in their lives to see anything beyond a gallery, so that's the edge of their *porn* world.

some webmasters schools inform newbies of all the ways they can make money from adult sites. galleries are only a part of the whole industry.

frankly, i think galleries have more than just the use of selling a sponsor. they are great advertisement for any site and garner that ever-precious traffic. i've led many a surfer to my main site with a gallery.

nevertheless, galleries are not the be-all end-all. they are just one marketing method among many.

Another aspect of the porn biz is the content provider. Why assume that webmastering a site to sell admission or make sponsor cash is the only way to go?

hey titmouse, i did check out your site. cool. i think i'll be reading your stuff on html. i put up a gallery site on lightning free yesterday, then i managed to fuck up the html tags. i hope i didnt piss lightning off with my stupid questions.
i gotta say, this biz has some of the coolest people, but the computer end is a royal pain.

but the computer end is the end that generates the money honey.

Hey!...... what do you have against Monkeys..:tongue:

AWS teaches galleries because they are an easy and low cost way to get to experience. They don't suggest that galleries are all there is to the field.
They've had student chats with some big names, some who even post here from time to time. Like Squishy said, they are adding other guides too. $140 for 6 months of support and instruction seems to me like a good deal for a beginner.
