I am looking for labor right now. It's hard to find honest labor at a decent rate. Everyone thinks they should make a lot of money for doing next to nothing.

And so many clients think they should reap a huge return on a little investment.

You want good labor. Then pay good prices for good solid labor. Or keep feeding the monkeys at places like PAO and then the good guys close shop and you can't hire them anymore.

I love these people who have their favorite designers, programmers etc. But then when some 3rd world hack shows up they decide they want to renegotiate prices on work based on the 3rd world hack's prices.

Then their favorite designer is now forced to lower their prices and take on more work. The end result is that your favorite designer / programmer eventually has to move on and you lose out.

So now you're stuck with some guy in the Philippines ripping on someone elses work for a 1/3 of the price and you're conversions go down.

Wise up, and learn that some people are actually worth what they charge.

I have had a number of clients request that I copy a design or mimic another site.
Needless to say...
