best stock trading sites?
what sites are the best and offer the lowest charges on trades? preferably looking for canadian sites but please post american ones too.

Ameritrade miight not be the lowest, but it's pretty fair. In the neighborhood of $11 a trade. Determine if you are going to require the advice of a broker often or if you are going to make your own picks. Avoid many of the older financial, cause they charge like $40 a trade, which is way too much. Check the rate they charge for transfers and account maintainence, and the interest rate they charge for margin. The margin rate will more than likely be tiered, depending on the value of the account and the amount of margin out.

The brokeage I use isInteractive Brokers $1.00 per contract. I also subscribe to StockMarketCashMachine
screener service. Go to the site and check the results, the strategy works |
hmm interesting, when i was dabbling in the stock market about 7 years ago i swore there were like hundreds of trading sites, has it really cut down lately?
