Designers get no respect!
 

We're like the Rodney Dangerfields of the business world! No one respects us and think our time isn't worth shit. I have people argue design prices that I already discounted next to nothing. I've had people expect me to design shit for free because, "It's just a simple design...nothing extravagant.".

yeah isn't that the truth. I give a price and stick to it now. Doing a lot more coding than design now days because everyone wants it for nothing

Anyone that wants to hire a designer should first try it themselves.
Good luck with M$ Frontpage.. than hire a designer and appreciate the skills.

I hear you, had a lot of clients asking for extra discounts when I allready gave a discount. I hear a lot of people talking about us designers as "just" designers. Isn't it true that there wouldn't be any sponsor programs or major sites without us designers?

I blame other designers for that....
