Man almost gets arrested for insisting his son use the men's restroom.

"In my home state (Washington) they had a radio show where they had a gentleman call in to talk about an instance he had with his 3 year old son. They were walking around a fair that they hold every year, and all of a sudden his kid starts to do the 'I gotta go pee' dance. Well, if you know 3 year olds, you know that by the time they are dancing, it's Go Time!

He runs his kid to the bathroom, noticing that there's a HUGE line for the womens bathroom (like normal) and a couple guys outside the ****MEN'S**** room. He goes to walk into the ****MEN'S**** bathroom, and one of the guys standing in line says "You can't go in there, there are females in there." So the guy explains to the schmuck that he has a 3 year old with an emergency, and starts to walk in. The guy who spoke to him put his hand on his shoulder, and told him "I'm not letting you go in there" So the guy (with his kid) smacks the other guys hand away, and says "They can deal with it."

When he walks into the bathroom, there is a line of 3 girls waiting to use the one toilet with a stall. TWO GIRLS WERE PUTTING ON MAKEUP AT THE SINK!! When he walks in, he tells the gals "Ladies, I have a 3 year old with an emergency, don't mind us." The girls get this embarassed look on their face, and take off out of the bathroom. He let's his son do his business, and he walks out of the bathroom.

Waiting for him is a female police officer. She instantly lays into him about how he CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES go into the MENS bathroom when there are females in there. The guy calmly tries to explain the situation, but the 'officer' cuts him off, and says, "I could cite you right now if I wanted to, don't ever do it again" The guy said he wanted to say something that rhymes with "cite me" to her at that time, but decided against it, since it wouldn't look good to be hauled off to jail in front of his kid.

I just thought it's stupid that if a man was in the same situation, he would have the world come down on him, but if a female does it, all of a sudden the men find themselves without a restroom anymore. Rules like these are why words like FUBAR were coined in the military."

what the fuck? tell the holes to get the fuck out of the mens bathroom. The dude had every right to go in there with his son.

why were the women using the mens bathroom in the first place? line-up and wait your turn!

I often wonder why women use the men's room, you see it at clubs all the time.

women go in and spend half hour there doing god knows what.

urinals take up less space. I feel that if women want to use the mens bathroom stalls, go for it. But dont expect us to piss our pants just because you dont want us to be in the same room.
Also, there should always be 2 womens bathrooms for 1 mens. Again, urinals take up less space.

That's a binch of bullshit. He should not have had to argue. Women do it all the time in clubs as a guy stated before and I actually enjoy the company. However it is the MENS bathroom, there should be no argument. I woulda cussed that fucking cop out and let her cite me. Then i woulda went to court and asked the judge how in the fuck!!!

If a woman uses a men's multi-stall restroom, she should expect a reduced level of privacy, and not scream when she sees a stranger shaking his dick at a urinal. However, no one would arrest her. Watch a man try to use a women's restroom and see what happens. DOUBLE STANDARD!

Why not arrest the woman in the men's room????? Where was the greater wrong? Actually not worth making a big deal of it. If it said Men on the door, what do you think a judge would say anyway.

Another issue at law and that is necessity demands sometimes (not sure a 3 y.o. needing to pee would count, but arguable). Like going into someones house to call for an ambulance or breaking down a door if someone is calling for help.

Al in all, all made a bigger deal than it was.

I've used the woman's room in emergency and I'm sure most after me wish I would have found another place. From the look on my face and the obvious need, no one said a word. :1orglaugh

Oddly enough, I've witnessed a similar situation.

When the girls washroom lineup is too long, they'll close the guy's washroom and let a small group of 4 or 5 girls in... somehow those 4 or 5 girls will take in excess of 15 minutes to come out :Oh crap
