8 Americans arrested in Rio over porn shoot


(August 4) Eight U.S. men were arrested in Rio de Janeiro on charges of hiring prostitutes to shoot pornographic films after one of the women complained to authorities that she had been underpaid. Prostitution is legal in Brazil and making porn films is not unlawful. But it is a crime to exploit prostitutes.

Sounds like they weren't greasing the the right palms... what exactly was the crime again? Making porn is legal. Prostitution is legal. But exploiting a prostitute is illegal?

Yep. Same here in mexico. Basically. the girl can only work for herself. A guy or woman pimping them will go to jail. They consider it taking money from the gir, who does all the HARD work!

No Not at all. But I am sure that woman made more from that shoot in a few hours, than she would have all week.

And saying that god is Brazilian seems stupid since it was brazilian law that arrested those guys.

the biggest problem is, that the girls will figure it out, and all they have to do os threaten to go to the cops, and get more cash.
