The problem with finding high quality traffic is that if the person who is selling it knows he can make more money by just throwing up his own ads and sending the traffic there.. afterall, if you're paying for it, and making a profit, its not a tough one to figure out. ;)

Yes, but there are a lot of site owners who don't know what the fuck to do with their traffic, also. If conversions are low or they don't want to take the time to build their own galleries to list on their site, I bet they'd be more than willing to sell off some of those clicks...

some people just need traffic to fuel trades.... theres a difference.... jumpstarting a tgp and banner clicks are two entirely different aspects of traffic dealing...

I believe the actual evil truth of the matter is indeed that " high Quality "
Traffic is in " High demand ". BUT, the problem is that there seems to be only one kind of traffic available for straight sale. And that is WORTHLESS traffic.
Sure, occasionally someone will pop onto a board and yell " Hey, I have great traffic to sell at a reasonable price " but those are getting fewer and far between. We did very well buying traffic until the last year or so. Everywhere we spent $500 or $1000 a test came back with horrible returns. These bad conversions with " bought " traffic when our affiliates, type-ins and SE traffic
do very well with great conversions. At one Point, desperate to stop throwing money away, we contacted a VERY Reputable company, XXXXX. A flop. A huge, EXPENSIVE flop. And I came to understand a little later that NOBODY buying from this company was making money. And if you knew the company I talk about, you would be surprised. Found a LOT Of people who had a similar experience with them... making back 10 cents for every dollar you spend is purty sad :(

I eventually contacted Mark Tiarra, who not only is Highly respected by a lot of people, but also a traffic dealer/middleman for traffic deals. He informed me that he was no longer able to make money as a middleman because to much of the bought traffic wasn't converting. So he started the traffic co-op. Dunno how that is doing these days, but haven't heard from it.

Bottom line is, you are going to have a hard time converting most of what people will sell you regardless of the quality of your site, because, these days, it's not usually your site. it's the traffic.

My suggestion is a paid banner on picpost.com or a similar high traffic site.
