Real Estate Stock Merkets bonds commodities ???

real estate buy building, houses, they arent making new land.

With the way that things are going in the US, I would look for something other. Imagine of Bush makes a nice little spat with china. How much do you think the stock market will be worth.

Realestate will boom after, but during is when to buy. Keep some of the cash handy.

ForEx. I believe china's policy, now that they've allowed the Yuan to float narrow against a basket of currencies, is to let it 'slip' closer to it's natural value as they progress with shifting away from buying US securities.

How good a return will depend on their policy, of course, but I can't see it going anywhere but up for a good long ways. To my mind it's a very safe investment, the only question is what sort of return annually you could expect and that'll depend entirely on the timing of china's central bank.

But you probably know all that already, 'cuz I know you made serious bank off euro speculation when the greenback hit the toilet a little while ago. :thumbsup

Invest in more of your own businesses.

There is a demand for commodities that's 30% more then the supply for the next 10 years.

Growth in China and the US is using up all the supply :)

The problem with commodities is getting into the right fund because most are closed or you have to dump a big chunk of cash to get in.

Stock market, and also your own ventures, as KRL said. And then again the Stock Market and let the gf/wife do some of her own real estate so she doesn't get bored and bug you all night!

With interest rates rising real estate isn't the best place to put your $$$, unless you plan on holding onto it for a long time.

real-estate market will slow down - more and more people work from home each year, so less need for office spaces and more and higher skyscrapers are being built.

i would go with real estate

the best investment is always investing in yourself, in investments you control and things you know a lot about.
