in scandinavia u need around 100k usd pr household to be considered middleclass, so i guess u dont want to move here :)

broadband internet +cable tv 35us$
electricity 20us$
gas 10us$
water 10us$
expenses 40us$
city tax 10us$
you can use the public health system that is free or get a private insurance for 80us$

and you will have some money left for travel, clubbing, etc :thumbsup

English is the second language they teach at schools, yet most people don't speak it very fluently, it is always better to speak some basic spanish. Among young people most would understand and speak.

If you make about 1300 a month, then living in Mexico, close to the border is nice.

Gas is a bit pricy, but you DO NOT have to import your car. And when it is time to get a new on, drive to cali.

We shop at Sams and Costco in Tijuana, and eat at KFC or Fridays in Tijuana as well.

Can always get a job in the US if needed.

You can life there for $10/k a year. But not european 'luxery' style. And yes you are alloud to visit porn sites and own porn sites. Just dont put them on your thai address. Shooting porn is a no no.

Just because you'd like to live on $10K a year doesn't mean that's all you make :) He'll, if I could find a decent place to live off $10K a year I'd do it in a heartbeat - and I make more than that a year (I make $11K, dammit!!).

haha i make more than 10k a month. im young and i want to explore the world and build up as much cash as i can for my future... ive already lived the baller lifestyle here in the states.. its just a waste of money..and gets pretty old quick

you can live on 10000 bucks a month, but lavishly, I don't think so

Also have a close look at the nikad's post, you must add some money for petrol there, couple of bucks for maintaining your car, couple of bucks for fixing your visa - plane trickets or bribes, if you're foreigner you'll always be paying moe for everithyng at least at the beginning
