saving dry cigars...
Anyone save like 30 dry cigars before?? I have heard that putting them in ziplock with sponge may help....
thoughts? XPorn |
Unless they are a high end cigar it's probably not worth the effort , go get yourself a nice humidor bro !

XPorn,
most good cigars will come back to their original state by placing them in a good humidor for a while. If you do not have a humidor, a sponge in a ziplock will work but be careful not to place too much water in the sponge or it will bubble all the wrapping off the cigars. my :2 cents: Doug |
just saved a box of Romeo & Juliet (churchill) with a humidor box!!
it was worth it :winkwink: :pimp |
Yea I have like 40 or so cubans....I need to rescue them!!!
My darn humidor can't hold any humidity.....so may have to upgrade from this $59 one ASAP! Thx... XPorn |

Guess they make humidors that take an electic humidifier....so may have to look into that. Would be nice to just set it and not have to worry...

I've got the same problem with my cheapy humidor... It worked great for years but this summer it just can't seem to hold humidity anymore.
haven't figured out how to get it back. |
