bittorrent client that uses the least RAM

Azareus just kills my computer, even with 2 gigs of memory & a 2ghz processor. What other client do you suggest for downloading royalty free ebooks :winkwink:

I'm using BitComet client , works very well.
Check it out.

Stamen 08-03-2005 12:47 AM

BitComet here as well

Murderous 08-03-2005 12:50 AM

I am getting sick of Azureus, but I have noticed my machine don't take kindly to any of the java based apps. I have shareaza as well, but it sucks balls too.

I run azureus and it never gives me any trouble, do you run the latest version?

riddler 08-03-2005 03:14 AM

There is another one that's using even less than these 2, but I cant remember the name. :/

I use G3, runs very well after it has hashed all your files. (the checking part bogs down your pc ALOT) running on a soso laptop.

demented 08-03-2005 07:27 AM

Bitcomet is open on my computer 24 hours a day and I have no problems at all. I have also found it to be alot faster (download wise) than other clients.

xfalmp 08-03-2005 07:33 AM

Yeah, another vote to BitComet.

I went from Azureus, to another I can't remember the name, to BitComet. Finally.
