I'm ready to get some more ink. Got my grandmother's memorial ready to go, just a small piece, and then three others that are in the planning/almost done stages.

Was very painful in some spots. I have 2 on my upper arms, but this one hurt a lot more. It's on my forearm. As it got close to the elbow I'm sure I made a few unflattering faces. :)

Thanks for the compliments. And just to rub it in a little on the guys that know how much a good tattoo costs... Here in Argentina, That was equal to about $55. Covers a little more than half my forearm.

Still a lot of red and blood showing through. The pics were taken at the shop before the bandage was even put on. In a few days it should be looking really nice.

And yes, I've heard the "never put a name or a face on a tattoo" stuff. I thought about it for almost a year before having it done. The ink is permanent...but the way I look at it, she will last longer than the tattoo. :)

Yeah I know. I had 2 done in the US before I moved down here. I have one on my right arm about the same size and same black and white type design, it cost about $200. I was amazed when the guy here told me the price, I was expecting a lot more.

I'm not too big on the idea of getting anything having to do with a significant other tattooed on oneself, but that's just my personal opinion. For your sake, I hope you guys are together and happy for a very long time.

It was just a few minutes over 2 hours all together. Not long at all considering the detail he put into it.
