Adding Sound To An Animated Gif??? How

I want to add sound to an already created gif file. What do I need to do? I have a computer mic, several video editing programs, and photoshop/illustrator/etc...any ever do this - I want to record the audio using the mic and add it to the gif :helpme

You cannot add music to a gif file. Swf fine, or an embedded sound file on a html page containing just hte gif fine, not a gif file though.

just add the .gif to your sound file instead

Like he said, there's no way unless you change the file type to a Swf (flash) file or something else of the like.

you could do a mouseover on the gif for the soundclip

Open the gif in a video editing program that allows you to add music/sounds to the timeline then export it as a video file of your choice.
