is it *99# there aswell ?

I am in Spain and use Vodafone, but punching that code gave me the reply:
"Unknown Application"

you must connect your laptop to the cell phone and then dial up
with *99# instead of a phone number , you dont need username or password
to do it
(use the cellphone as a modem )

A friend of mine uses his cell lots of time as a modem (GPRS 244kbps), will ask him later one when I have a chance :)

yes it is, hence why I posted here, we aren't in Spain but i'm willing to bet its iether the same way or he knows how it works there, will let you know later on :2 cents:
