anyone here installed Windows x64?
 

I'm having a hard time installing my other hard disks.. Windows recognizes new hardware but keeps asking for drivers.. I've never seen such a thing.. not for harddrives..

other than that..

I installed it on my 2X WD Raptor raid 0.. it's running very fast.. ! ;)

some programs are a bit buggy.. :(

I used the windows xp sp2 disk and it installed just fine. I run amd64 on both my laptop and main computer

And you shouldn't notice anything different

It needing raid drivers for your raptors is normal though

I've tried it.. problem is logitech is refusing to release mouseware drivers last time i checked; meaning x64 is gay for games at 400dpi. Everything else seemed fine.

I''m also running two raptors in a stripe :)

Tried to install with AMD XP 3000 . After finding sata drivers , it gave a blue screen of memory errors ... Rebooted a few times and re-installed finally the traditional XP .

Maybe on another machine I am doing this week...

Um, the "AMD XP 3000" is not a 64 bit processor.
