things are definitely going bin laden's way. for those of you that thought he meant he was going to literally destroy the US, you missed the real meat of his plan and you're about to find out what it really was now. his goal has always been to lead the saudi kingdom. the royal family is about to split and fight for power.

they broke that story and were wrong, he was still alive, now it's official as of this week.

FWIW, I haven't been able to confirm this report and I've even been scanning the Saudi, Kuwati and Qatar news feeds. Nada.

It's very plausable, though... he's been sick for a long time, although a press release was issued saying he was doing 'much better' a few days ago.

Assuming it's true, now the fun begins. I wonder how much of the pre-death positioning had to do with their seeming inability to add that extra capacity they've been talking about doing for a couple years now.

I know it's incorrect to pay attention to such a details when somebody dies, but the death brings world-wide effect.

I don't think there is going to be much fight for power. King Fahd has been fucked up since like '95 when he had a stroke or something along those lines. He didn't really do much after that other then being a face for the government.
