US webmasters - What does "Jam" mean to you?
 

Im checking out a domain for mainsteam.....

Does "Jam" mean a type of sweet fruit spread in the US?

jam can mean many things, but yes we do have fruit spreads called jam (like jelly)

I like to jam with my air guitar.

A food, Music Jam, to jam something in something..

Probably music for the younger crowds, food for people 40+.

I have never heard Jam mean Jell-O or "Jelly" (UK).

I meant jelly. Hell I was only a few letters out.

iF are talking about jam for breakfast, then yes it is a type of fruit spread. It is usually more smooth than jelly, and not always natural.

I'm not a US webmaster, but form me "Jam" is strongly associated with my "i-mate Jam" Pocket PC :)
