Paycom 2257 requirements - regardless of origin
 

Hey guys - interesting email correspondence with Paycom late last week on 2257.

I've registered with their EU service - I'm currently living in the UK and I've got a UK business. I'm a New Zealand resident and haven't been to the US in about 2yrs - never lived there.

However - Paycom just told me that they wouldn't approve my new sites (which are not hosted in the US and all content is shot by myself here in the UK) unless I was 2257 compliant.

Did I mention that I'm registered with VISA EU with them?

I am compliant (did it incase my affiliates needed it) but man that is weird!!! Perhaps one of the loop holes is closed.

Nah. If you wanted to get around this, I'm sure you could just put a nice fancy 2257 link up, with a listed address, and not do a damned thing more. I highly doubt Paycom is going to come inspect your actual records. :2 cents:
