DatingGold 07-30-2005 10:15 PM

SomeCreep 07-30-2005 10:21 PM

"Meet joe black" and "Cool World" are the only brad pitt movies I dont like.

uno 07-30-2005 10:38 PM

I think it's more like 10 years old. Old enought to have like 50 porn spoof name off it like "Meet Joe's Black Cock" and stuff like that.

I liked it, even though it's like 3 hours long.

Satisfaction 07-31-2005 12:45 AM

thats pretty old ai..

gideongallery 07-31-2005 01:27 AM

you have to watch the original "death takes a vacation"
much better movie.

Laurie 07-31-2005 05:30 AM

I think I remember shedding a tear, but I saw it a long time ago.

ssp 07-31-2005 05:32 AM

Only reason that movie would bring a tear to anyones eyes is they are so upset of having wasted that much of their life on such a pile of steaming shit.

Honestly that movie could be cut down to about 10seconds. From just before the car hits him until he lands. Done, the rest is justa really long drawn out cheesed up pile of shit.

argh what a crap movie

DeadFidel 07-31-2005 06:02 AM

The only part of that movie I liked was when Brad gets hit by the car!
Great edit work :thumbsup

Haha, that's the only part I remember from that movie. I believe it was like 2 cars though incoming from both ways.

I watched it again just yesterday. The death scene in the begining rocks. I also like the scene with the old lady in the hospital.

xfalmp 07-31-2005 08:59 AM

No, you're not the only one... it happened to me first time I saw it.

I really liked that movie, Claire Forlani is beautiful. :thumbsup

Lee 07-31-2005 09:03 AM

The medley of Wonderful World/Somewhere over the Rainbow at the end credits by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole is amazing, in fact the musical score to the whole film is very good.

axelcat 07-31-2005 09:08 AM

I dont like that movie

Trent Edison 07-31-2005 09:54 AM

Dunno about everything else, but Anthony Hopkins' work was brilliant. As always...

tungsten 07-31-2005 09:56 AM

old ass flick, was pretty good

Midwest Shane 07-31-2005 10:49 AM

Hey that is my favorite movie ever I thought it was a girl thing I guess not! I am not even a big Brad Pitt fan I mean he is hot but I just loved the movie as a whole. Melissa

One of my all time favorite movies, watched it with the wife many. many times. Maybe its an age thing. I'm pushing 50 and have almost met "Joe Black" a couple times myself. It gives you a real perspective how temporary this situation is and how little the crap most people worship (money. fame, etc.) is really of value.

I'm not sure the movie would have spoke to me as much if I was 15 or 16 like the average gfy guy. :2 cents:

alan-l 07-31-2005 12:37 PM

I didn't shed a tear, but I really liked the girl, don't know her name but I kinda said "WOW". Very beautiful

I'm a big fan of just about anything Anthony Hopkins does. Even that shitty movie a year or so ago with Nichole Kidman.

crockett 07-31-2005 01:03 PM

Death and Taxes

tristan_D 07-31-2005 06:39 PM

I've seen the movie and it did not strike me that much. Found it so average.

tony286 07-31-2005 06:40 PM

very good movie

wedouglas 07-31-2005 06:44 PM

that movie is utter garbage. its silent through like 90% of it. cry baby.

hard to find a tear jerker these days, but thats ot one of them. Maybe watch the Lion King.

SmokeyTheBear 07-31-2005 06:51 PM

I thought you were talking about joe dirt and it made me giggle like a schoolgirl

sniperwolf 07-31-2005 06:55 PM

that's a decade ago.. I don't even remember the story man...and wtf.. i dont even fancy brad!

Mako 07-31-2005 06:59 PM

Decent movie.

Pluses:
Claire Forlani. Why didn't she blow up, she's pretty incredible. You never hear anything about her. Her eyes have more acting depth than Jessica Alba's entire body.

Anthony Hopkins. Delivers the best line in the movie: "65 years...doesn't it go by in a blink..."

Negatives:
Horrible Brad Pitt trying to speak Jamaican. lol, a "10" on the unintentional comedy scale.

reynold 07-31-2005 07:05 PM

I haven't seen Joe Black yet. I think 7 years in Tibet is one of Brad Pitt's best films.
