Buying stuff from your not so well of days.

I know odd topic.
Ok does anyone else find themselves buying certain items they honestly do not use anymore. Sort of like when I was poor comfort items.
I ask because I went shopping yesterday. When I came home I relized I had bought like 6 cans of tuna and a case of ramien noodles. I honestly do not even remember grabbing them. Worst of all was when I went to put them away I already had like 12 cans of tuna and two cases of ramien noodle.
This had me somewhat intrigued so I looked around my pantry, sure enough I had like two dozen boxes of mac and cheese, a very wide assortment of hamburger helper and I swear at least 24 cans of tomato paste.
:Oh crap

Yeah its called buying shit I do not need. Then again there is a disorder for everything.
Good news is my fiance told me she is responsible for part of it, she buys a lot of the stuff out of habbit as well and since we never eat it she occassionally thinks we must be out.

My mom's cabinets are always busting full..she thinks it's psychological..like she feels safer stocking up when she can, in case something happens..or like she just feels better off with full ass cabinets, lol.

Could be. I did grow up rock poor, yes we would of been happy with dirt at least we could of grew something.
I also have a hard time throwing away items that could be usefull later. Even though I am pretty sure I will never use them.

I actually do not mind it, just never eat it anymore. Do not know why. Though I must pass on miracle whip, has to be real mayo.

Another valid point. My great grandmother did the same thing and I spent a great deal of my youth with her.

I sometimes buy pornos... then I come home and realize I have an office filled with it.

I still eat mac & cheese, but that's cuz I like it. I can relate to the ramen in years past, but what's up with all the cans of tomato paste?

I used to use it a lot when making spaghetti sauce. Few cans of paste few cans of tomato sauce some onion garlic and itailian spices. Did not taste super good but was super cheap to make.

Ohhhh ok. I use the garlic tomato paste sometimes when I make goulash, but with you having so many cans, I was wondering if there was some sorta gross use for it I wasn't aware of. lol
