I don't think 2257 is the matter of FBI interests. So, leave it for your local police department.

I think that when it comes down to it, it will be a special unit from the FBI, and they will bring a member of a local department as a uniformed presence.

Au contraire, the FBI or other DOJ representatives (the FBI is part of the Dept. of Justice) are, under the guidelines of 2257, the only ones that you are required to allow to view your docs. Anyone else, including local police, county mounties and state troopers should be told to come back when they have a warrant.
