Captain..um, kids are supposed to be chubby. The term "baby fat" was coined for a reason. My older daughter was TRULY fat at her age...and now, at almost 4, she's all long legs and is thin without being scrawny.

Last time I checked fat wasn't cute... I don't get it!

Mine aren't young any more (thank goodness). But, they were certainly chubby in their terrible two's.

LOL This one is actually a little angel..her older sister, now that one is a diva, lolol.

Yeah, I had a fat one too. She weighed 30lbs on her first birthday. Then she started walking and she went tiny. To put it in perspective, she weighed 30lbs on her 5th birthday. Now, she is 11 and weighs about 75lbs. I love fat babies. :upsidedow

Hey Captain idiot, I mean Captain Obvious, kids are supposed to be a little chubby. Chase's kid is not fat at all, having baby fat is good for them, ask any pediatrician. It helps them with their neural(brain) deveolopement and height growth. You can't be cutting their healthy fats out of their diets when they are little or you are going to hurt their brain growth. Aside from letting the kids having their normal playing of sports or their age level activities, you can't make kids do an intense exercise regimen because it hurts their growth as in closing the spaces between the bones that allows for height growth.

She is very cute. But I too feel that she might be a bit over weight. Having a new born, we are scared of our son getting to heavy, and causing problems.

To the people complaining about her weight:
I don't see how she's so fat. She's two years old..just turned two THIS month in fact. She's still a baby. If she was nearly four, like her sister, and she was that pudgy, then perhaps I could see your point. She still fits into 18 month clothes...so how can she be so huge? lol She weighs 26 pounds..which, according to the growth charts that the doctors use, is about at the 50th percentile, which is the average weight of little girls her age. Anyone who has had kids at that age will tell you, they are still chubby at two, and it is HEALTHY for them to have that pudge. For example..when your child goes off of formula at 1 year old, they tell you to give them whole milk until they are two, because they need the extra fat in the milk.

If you still think she's fat, you should have seen her sister at her age. Here's a pic of them both. Does her sister look fat to you now? LOL Kids thin out a lot between two and four. Give my babygirl a break. Take a clue from the fact that several people who have had children that age have confirmed that babies are still chubby at two, and it's healthy for them.
