I hate phones.
 

Rarely anything good comes out of a phone call.

90% of the time it's for someone else, or someone I don't want to talk to like a salesman, someone I never call, or the bearer of bad news.

And this morning. NON FUCKING STOP NOW. The phone just keeps ringing.

I hate phones.

I think it eventually has the Pavlov's dog kind of effect on me.

A conditioned response to a certain stimuli.

The ring, instead of making me salivate like Pavlov's dog, now makes me stressed, and even a bit angry because I know I do not want to hear what's on the other end of the line.

ah. know the feeling. I hate those damn stupid sales people who keeps on calling.
Luckily here in Norway they cant/dont call cell phones, so atleast on that I dont get botherd.
But thenagain my cell phone is a piece of crap that just wont work properly, so thats anoying to.. *arrgh*

I had a partner on a project one time..no matter what. I'd email him with a question like user/pass for the ftp or something that I would need written down and he'd call me with the answer.

I think he responded via email maybe 2 out of 10 times...LOL
Everything else he would call as soon as he got the email..whether that was 30 seconds later or an hour.

Not comparing the two..unless you're responding to the one above you.

All kinds of people having been ringing me lately asking if I want to participate in "surveys that are important to society" and such. I very politely say, "I dont have time right now". They say, "Would there be a better time to call back?". I said, "No". They tell me to have a wonderfull day and hang up. Now I don't know about anyone else, but I HATE taking surveys on the phone. I'd rather have phonesex with a man than answer a survey.

i just hate it when i am soo in peace then the phone rings just to advertise or sell me a credit card....fuckin annoying...grrrrrr!

I never answer the phone unless I recognize the caller ID and it's someone I want to talk to. Otherwise they can all hang up on my answering machine :upsidedow
