Suing a Spammer
 

Someone said I could make some bucks by suing some of these spammers that are based in the US, their whois info is in the US. Is this true? I've heard a lot of people have done it and won quite a bit of cash, anyone tried it??

A new law starting today/yesterday says if these spammers mail the wrong people in Utah or Michigan, they can be sued.
If someone signs up to your list, then they sign up to the Utah/Michigan list and you mail them, you can be sued.

You can't sue spammers.. and those new state laws will not help you.. The CAN-SPAM law strictly states that individuals cannot sue spammers.. Only Internet Providers and the federal government.

Actually the real money is in spamming, not suing spammers...
