Depo-provera (the "shot") and I love it! I even give the shot to myself. I can't imagine having to shell out a co-pay just to have a nurse do the same thing I can do.

Liv's on the pill, and she does something that most other pill takers think is weird. She takes it the same time everyday, did you know that it's more effective if you take it exactly 24 hours apart? Thats what her doctor told her, and she's stuck to it ever since. She's got an alarm set and every morning at the same time of day she takes her pill. Pregnancy is something we want to do eventually, but not just yet so she's right on time every day.

I do the shot and have for years... But the best birth control is my hubby lives in Seattle and I live in Atlanta.

i had gotten pregnant on the pill, which i NEVER missed taking. also got pregnant while using condoms and foam. at that point, i decided it was time for a tubal ligation.

Im married but my husband uses condoms because I had a bad reaction to the birth control shot the first time I got it, so we dont use anything other than condoms now.

You should do a search on the web about Depo as its banned in nearly every country now and there are also a lot of court cases going on.

You may not be getting problems now but you will get problems eventually. Depo is an evil drug and you need to do a little research there. :2 cents:

In 1993 (I'm old) I had Norplant put into my arm, everyone at work had to deal with me being very upset all the time with it in my arm. I had a realy bad time with it so I had them take it out 2 months later I had to have it taken out, good thing I did I just found this out...
