My favorite breakfast place serves coffee, juice, tea, muffins, toast, or bagles to those waiting in line for a table. Yes they are that popular.
Guess this goes to show if the quality of food is that good people still buy.

Only difference is, with restaurants, as soon as people walk in, its as good as making a sale... because they have like a what? 1 in 1 ratio of people that walk in to people that order? So chances are, people won't have a free sample at the restaurant and leave like they would with browsing for porn online.

I often agree with you on a lot of things. But come on, use a bit more logic than that.
Some owners may rather have a fixed income from each site rather than a fluxuating one. As for paying for submits, well they can charge. It does take time and energy to make your own galleries and or verify submissions. So why not charge?
As for using all of your own, well some people just are not that good at selling but are great with trading and or traffic. Others may want a good variety on their sites. Many possible reasons here.
Lastly if the spots that are for sell were not sold over and over again often to the same buyers, then maybe you would have a valid point. Yet most of the decent tgps that sell spots sell numerous ones over and over to the same companies, and often have a waiting list to boot.

Dont discourage n00bs in making tgp/mpgs. :winkwink:

I went to the drug store today to buy hand lotion and there were a bunch of bottles and I didnt know which one to pick.
And there was a free bottle of a new Dove hand lotion so I tried it and I liked how it smelled and felt, so I bought that bottle.

Just saying, sometimes giving a free sample is great.
Like when Hollywood puts out teaser clips of a new movie in tv commercials.
People can see hey youre giving away the good parts of the movie, but it gets people excited enough to go see the movie.

oh and I went to the bakery today too and they had free samples of some cinnimon coffee cake and it was so fucking good I ended up buying one even though I usually dont go for that stuff. I never would have bought that, or that hand lotion, unless I got a free sample first.

You have points but dont you think companies might buy the spots for name placement. Also if Tgp's converted so great why have affiliates? Wouldnt the big companies just have a few full time people submitting all day? I can only go by my experience never sold shit on a tgp but on top lists my site sells very very well.

trying a piece of cake is different then you go to a tgp find a pic you really like jack off to it. After you blow your nut , you are not going to sign up lol
