scam or not?

I've gotten a call a few days ago from a guy who claims to be the 'european' sales person for the hun. He gave me the following quote:

-------------------------------
Dear Olivier,

Bookings for www.thehun.com are only available now for November. This is the earliest slot.
We currently do a deal that will place you on 4 of the major sex sites.

www.worldsex.com
www.al4a.com
www.pussy.org
www.thehun.com

Costing Per site (includes Hosting)

Period 1 month 3 months 6 months
Unit cost $5,230 $4,360 $3,915
Total cost $5,230 $13,080 $23,490

The longer period that you stay committed for the more the discount will be.
I can also do a one moth trial (but cannot guarantee subsequent month)
This will give you a month on all the site listed above so that you may see the results that you will receive
These site deliver billions of impressions every year.
The cost conversion from placement to cpm rate calculates to $0.0001 cpm
There is only 4 days left for Novembers booking.

The cost for this is $15,650.00 (usd) Per month for all 4 sites. (save $5270)
Call me on +44 (0)1772 888706

Thanks

Manowar 07-29-2005 02:28 PM

Sounds like a scammer

olivier69 07-29-2005 02:28 PM

Yeah but he says he's the 'european' part. It sounds fishy to me.

Pay by credit card, if it's a scam, file a dispute and get your money back for "services not delivered"

I've done this b4 with someone in Columbia for seo and got my money back in less than a week...

I enjoy rolling the dice on 15k as well. good call.

I wouldn't take the risk either...

I'm just saying any payment should be sent by credit card for any transactions you ever do, because the credit card company protects you from liability and not through something like paypal out of your bank account.

No European Rep for the Hun or the other sites

This isn't a scam other then we were misinformed. Ali bought ads from us but and big BUT he is reselling the spots at an upcharge. He is now officially turned off from CyberCat. Misrepresenting himself as a European Representative.

CyberCat handles the sites he is writing about and will not be able to purchase ads in the future. You can get them cheaper directly from the only company that represents these people.

Just found out about this and am astonished at the gall of some people.

Occasionally someone who purchases a spot will have to get rid of it but it still goes through CyberCat Inc.

Anyone getting this from Ali please forward to [email protected] or [email protected]

Anyone that bought from this should be coming to CyberCat Inc. in future. You won't be upcharged.
