Does a girl have to be super hot for a solo site?
 

I have seen some real hotties and yet some not so hot girls doing solos. What are your thoughts on an average looking girl doing a solo site?

The uglier the better I say.

Think more interaction with the members would help, live cam shows and stuff.

Got nothing to do with how hot she is and everything to do with how she's marketed.

The prettier the better. You need to have someone who stands out among those constantly increasing number of girls featured on solo various sites.

They don't have to be "hot" but they have to be appealing to the target audience.

As a surfer you must know that the gorgeous ones get away with non-nude and LOP (lack of pink) BS, and you know damn well that the ugly ones must be horny sluts that will do anything on camera in order to survive.. so.. :)

She should be pretty, yes, but I think the photographer, quality of the photos/video and the setup is more important. Many girls (average looking) can sell if you know what you are doing. And most important is that they know how to flirt with the camera.

Not only interaction with the surfers, but also affiliates is important. It's nothing more horrible than webmasters posting pics themself all over the place and at the same time never update their affiliate area...thats waste of ressources. :upsidedow

I think designers should focus more on fresh ideas from time to time. It doesn't necessary mean that the model should be very hot to be assured of high conversion.

For the market-when-they-are-new-then-forget solo sites, hot surely works better, if only because more webmasters are likely to get on board to promote them. But for the real solo sites, I would expect the site as a whole to matter more than the looks of the girl/woman. I can think of several long-running and AFAIK successful sites which are not run by stereotypical "hot" girls.

I have a feeling that the cookie-cutter solo sites are fast reaching their sell-by dates. As someone else wrote, a cute/hot girl is pretty much a guarantee these days of tame content, likely not too much of it, and very little in the way of personality.

Although, not a perfect 10...Nana does very well! :thumbsup
