Artichokes
 

Ok last night I went to our favorite steak house. A new appetizer intrigued me so I had to give it a try. Now I eat artichokes all the time but I had never eaten one that was grilled. I have always had them steemed, boiled, or baked. Well they had grilled artichokes with a very spicy dipping sauce. They looked a tad scary since they were partially blackened on the edges and stuff. Yet they had a very unique taste and I was very surprised with the flavor they took on from grilling.
If ya get the chance, try them this way.

I LOVE artichokes!!! I've been steaming or boiling them and then finishing them on the grill to give them a more smokey flavor. And for dipping, a little melted butter, fresh dill and a half a squeezed lemon.. Oh man yumm I'm starving

I grew up in an Italian family, we made stuffed artichokes all the time. The heart is yummy! :)
