Maybe vote on the best skin and give the companies some form of extra advertising for dropping the money to skin GFY.

I don't visit GFY much as proved by my post count over several years. Aside from that I already have three accounts with Epic starting from when the program only had four or five sites so it's not like he missed out on someone who didn't know about the program - I've known Trey since he hosted at Prohosters ;)

Who remembers the first skin? Adult dialer solution! There was about 3 pages worth of threads over it. It was such a surprise, some people even fainted.

Yes, but an Archive gives a nice sense of History! Some of the people who have advertised on FUBAR are no longer around. Still I love to see the old ads tru the years. Great idea :thumbsup

Personally I think this is a great idea.. I also think that you should have the ability to chosse a past skin and make it YOUR DEFAULT choice of skin, some skins look better than others and people have color preferences...

Would be a great incentive to the advertisers who skin to have their skin go in the archive of skin options..

Good idea, not only to increase exposure but for nostalgia and just general interest in how the different skins looked.

I think letting the user skin GFY however he wants if a good idea. If someone is paying to skin it then have it override their user setting. However, if it is normal, let the user choose which skin he wants out of all the ones that have been done.

Shouldn't be to difficult to implement and then I could keep this nice red one :)

also maybe let past advertisers update their skin so that those who choose to use their's will seen new promotions etc.

In the board admin there is an option that allows you to set yes or no for people choosing skins.. So if you switched it to no, then all of the skins would display as the current advertisers skin which is default..
