For many of you outside Canada, you're probably thinking "WHO?"

The head of the NHL Player's Association is gone, just days after insisting to anyone who would listen "I'm not going anywhere."

Bye bye Bob! Good riddance ...

now they just need Bettman to split, and perhaps they can start mending the fences

It's good news, the idiot said no cap, then accepted one.

I'm not too sure about that.

My understanding is the players executive committee TOLD him to take the cap and he disagreed vehemently.

The rumour I heard was when the deal was being signed, he was at a baseball game, and had little or nothing to do with the final agreement.

He's resigning imo because he totally disagrees with the cap.

I hate the guy, AND Ted Saskin, but I respect him for having principles, no matter how much they fucked the game.
