Would a girlfriend be allowed at the Westin Diplomat hotel without an internext pass?

Important Information Regarding Your Reservation

Internext has reserved the entire Diplomat Resort Property. When inquiring about reservations you must specify that you are with the Internext group or you will be told that the hotel is sold out.

Please note - Internext will be taking over the entire Diplomat resort. This means only registered show participants will gain access to the hotel property.

No One under 18 will be allowed on hotel property at anytime during Internext.

And yes everyone needs badge :winkwink:

Last Year I didn't get a Pass but I was staying at the Diplomat. The room key will allow you to get to the outside pool area where they have security at the door. Alot of people hang outside theres a Bar out there.

I had to buy my husband a pass :( Sucks to pay to be there on your birthday to work. First time in 5 years it's on a weekend. At least we get to see friends and enjoy some free hospitality. No late night parties this year as we have to drive to the show each day, but we'll make the most of it.

BasicMan - Yes they have blocked the whole hotel - and yes you do have to have a pass to get on the property this year - and yes this includes family members - and the reason (well the published reason) is that the exhibits and operations of the conference will be throughout the hotel - not just on the floor this year

no badge = no girlfriend in the hotel...although she can get a talent pass and hang out at night if you want

I guess all you need is a time machine and you will be set.

From what I read, no one is allowed on the "premises" without a pass.
Of course, if you haven't received your pass I assume there's an exception until you pick it up. I hope.

Everyone within the property of the Diplomat hotel, including pool area and lobby and so on will be required to wear a pass during the daytime. In the evenings, wristbands will be available for badge holders' guests and can be picked up at registration, which will be staffed 24hrs.

The Internet show isn't at the same time as CES and AVN Video show.. Well, if it is that would be the largest mistake AVN ever made. It takes HOURS to get into the video show, service for the Internet show is slow enough.

The Internet show sucks at the V, the V ripped booths off, services, computers, etc.. It was total crap. You can't even move a box on your own, gota pay for it to be moved 50 feet. Room service, sucks.. The V sucks.. Mandy is a much better hotel.

I missed the 11 page thread, and i must just say how fucking bullshit is this. They booked the whole hotel fine, that's great but last time I checked I'm paying for my room. You need a pass to get past the lobby? Shouldn't the actual property be included in our room charges? I am dying to see how this will be enforced. Has anyone spoken to the Westin about this?

I don't want to wear a pass on my neck all day ...out by the pool and where ever .. is there a wristband that can be worn all day ... i don't think I've kept my badge on more then an hour in the past 4 shows I've been to .. :(

wait a minute...internext can't be at the same time as avn and ces...what abotu people that want to have booths at internext, and then go on and have booths at AVN??? there is no way people are going to have two booths and two staffs working at the same time

the back to back way was better

shit, they even overlapped the shows last year by one day and it fucked people up royally...there was one day that avn didn't have some of the people that were finishing up at internext, cause the last day of internext was the first day of AVN

i think they have an option where you have the avn barcode tattooed on you, but that is an extra fee...oh, but then if you do that then it is required that all females with you get the tattoo too, and then they have to pay an extra $100 tattoo fee
