Ok, I'm watching Cris Angel...he just threw a deck of cards at the windshield of a moving bus. One of the cards, which was signed by a passenger landed on the outside of the windshield.

I've seen David Blaine do this too. How the FUCK is this done?

The passenger is actually his assistant and signed TWO cards -- one stayed inside the bus, the other "magically" appeared outside the bus. I'm sure the fake "passenger" seemed amazed by the trick, right?

You saw this on tv? Um, they stopped taping, pulled the bus over, put the card on the windshield, and started taping again?

Damned if Samantha from Bewitched couldn't make herself disappear and reappear like that too!

Well, considering it is a TV show, the whole thing could be fixed. The bus could be rented, the people might not be real spectators, and the footage might be edited. All of this is possible, but one thing is for sure, it isn't done by magic.

The best tricks are card tricks used with gaff cards or a regular deck. The big production magic is too fake these days, but the smaller stuff, even if gaffed, is still effective.

BTW: I never saw Chris Angels show, so I don't really want to comment too much about it. But what I said is probably the case.

Chris Angel does shows in Vegas, Live.. just as David Blaine does is NY. Right in the street, with 100's of people watching.

Nobody is working for him on the bus, nobody stopped the bus and helped out..

If anything Chris Angel makes David Blaine look like a joke.

I saw his MindFreak show - or part of it - the other night and I was impressed, trickery or not.

He sets himself on fire in Las Vegas, walks around forever, does a face plant on a mat and within 2 seconds of the assistants using fire extinguishers to put him out there is no body, just what looks like his charred clothes and HE is one of the assistants blowing out the fire.

The one I really like about David Blaine was when he's doing that gravity defying stunt.

Blaine only lifts up like 8 inches or so off the ground.. Chris does it FEET off the ground.. It was pretty amazing.

I watched it last night while running on a treadmill. He's pretty impressive...Especially with his floating.

That's a camera trick. In reality they barely lift a few inches... if that. And you'll never see BOTH feet off the ground. There is a reason why they always do it with their back to the audience.

yeah, on TV it's done with a green screen and a crane lifting blaine or angel or whoever....

in person, they have their back to the audience, and tip toe on one foot...Muhamed Ali did that shit in "When We Were Kings"...

Criss Angel is one of if not the best illusionist currently working. His tricks are far more advanced than Muhamed Ali standing on one foot. Watch the levitation yourself:

Ugh the mask magician revealed that his " levitation " trick is a scam that can only be done on video, the people he encounters are in on the trick, totally fake fucker doing anything to sell a video

I suppose .. I've never been there and witnessed him doing this live. Other people claim he does these illusions right on the streets of Vegas and other cities. So who knows, maybe he does.

I'm not suggesting it's "magic". I am suggesting it's probably a little more advanced than what your avarge GFYer could figure out though.

they showed how it was all done, i forget if it was something to do with his shoes or pants or possibly both but they turnt he camera a certain way as he only goes on one foot and goes up on tippy toe

I'm sure Angel's levitation was also done with a green screen and video editing and EVERYONE in that vid was in on it.

Point is...these tricks can ONLY be done with VIDEO EDITING...
