Adsense / SE spammers read this

I like to find new spamming ideas and let everyone know about them. Not that I condone SE spamming, but just because I like to "dillute" their ideas.

Check out this site: http://123promotion.co.uk/ppc/

Do a search for "nipples" Interesting :1orglaugh

I don't get it. It looks like a page full of links trying to sell me something.

To the rest of us it looks like a combined Overture and Wordtracker tool. :eek7

Warlock what is your contact info?

AdultNex 07-27-2005 07:24 PM

Adding images next to Adsense has skyrocketed CTR -- This is just genius.

slapass 07-27-2005 07:27 PM

it is also against TOS.

~Ray 07-27-2005 08:00 PM

why would you post information that will get you kicked out of adsense?

dopeman 07-27-2005 08:09 PM

that guy's playing a dangerous game with his adsense ads. i searched 'ipod' and pics of ipods showed up next to the ads, but only two of the ads were for ipods. good way to get kicked out of the program.

I don't do this but I've read the TOS. Does it specifically say you can't have relevant images on pages beside google ads? I don't remember seeing anything of the sort.

MerlinK 07-27-2005 08:15 PM

Hrm... Well, AdSense doesn't always generate relevant ads -- so what if text next to an Ad says, "Ipod", but AdSense displays a result for a network cable -- is that a violation of TOS, or is it just a contextual inaccurancy on Google's behalf?

they recently addressed this on another message board. they said if you're using generic, 'stock' type images you're probably ok. but you the images can NOT in any way mislead the surfer as to where a link goes.

Interesting. I'm too big of a chickenshit to try either way. My luck I'd wait the 2.5 months to get my first check and get termed on the day before it got sent.

Wolfy 07-27-2005 08:25 PM

absolute genius...

the_wizz 07-27-2005 08:33 PM

adsense sucks. Plain and simple. I was runnning it on a mainstream site, finally hit the $100 mark, and they decided that I somehow violated the TOS. SO, not only do I not get my money, my adsense account has been closed, and the advertisers got free advertising off me.

Adsense is shit. Go with something better,

It's not against the Adsense TOS.

I started displaying images next to Adsense a long time and verified it with an email to the Adsense support team.

I agree that Adsense is a bit strict, but it is your fault for not reading the TOS and following simple directions. Many people complain because they blatantly do simple things like click their own ads, etc.

JD 07-28-2005 10:16 AM

use adengage or adbrite.
