Video Formating
hi guys,
I'm working on a Mac G4 with OS X 10.3.9 and using imovie to edit videos. I'm also formating them to Quicktime in Imovie. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to formate a 30 minute movie. Then I need to drop the Quicktime formate into Cleaner 6 to formate it for Windows Media. This takes about 3 hours for a 30 minute movie. Does anyone have any suggestions for faster and better formating software that is Mac compatabile. I will also be going to Mac's new OS "Tiger" soon. A friend suggested Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, but there is no version for Mac, and Adobe is not going to make one. Also, Final Cut Pro will not formate it for Windows Media either, only for Quicktime. I already checked into that |
Although I don't use a Mac, I do use Cleaner and if it is taking that long, there is a problem.
I encode the final movie into an .avi then run that .avi through Cleaner and spit out .wmv, .RM, & .mov files in multiple bandwidth versions...All in WAY under 3 hours. Maybe it's time for you to get a PC? :1orglaugh |
