how do i make my url look like http://blah.myurl.com/index.html and load correctly
I know it's probably pretty simple, but I've never done it, so now I'm asking... anybody know?
Ok let me try to be more clear... Let's say I have a domain - mydomain.com Let's say I want to have a URL on my site that is http://sex.mydomain.com/index.html How do I do that? |
What?

I think you are asking how to make a subdomain - like:
teens.mysite.com vs. www.mysite.com If that is what you are asking - ask your host to set up a subdomain - they will usually set up a seperate folder for you - just instead of the folder saying: mysite.com it will say: teens.mysite.com If you are asking how to make a webpage linked - then you have problems - as you did it ok with your topbucks link :) (Even though you do it differently) |
keyword.domain.com ??
|
yes exactly... I want to do keyword.mydomain.com

Ask your host to set up a 3rd level domain for you :eatmouse
|
I mean you use < a > insteal of [ url ] . I was just being a smart ass - that's all :)
|
Have your host setup a wildcard DNS and host if you want anything.domain.com
Or they can setup subdomain by subdomain if you want individual ones. |
If your host can not do that (that's unusual) than you can try using something like http://www.everydns.net/ or http://www.mydomain.com/ to forward your sub-domains.
