so how fabulouse is your webmaster life?

Ok so we are in the adult biz/online biz. There is really much money to make and man of us have seen that. In a normal just you can not just make a thousand of more in a day. Som even a few thousand.

Ok so there is a lot of money to make. Now when we look at the other jobs tht make you a lot of money like the music entertainment and movie, lawyers, doctors. If you made in those fields then your life can be pretty flashy atleast if you are living in the right country.

So how is your webmaster life. Spending money like crazy or is your wife or girlfriends spending your money. Many parties, women, trips around the world ect. Just the fabulouse life style.

I can tell you that my life is far from it. Money is coming in good but there is not really much fabulouse. Only spending all my time in front a screen. And i live in europe so that is not much party here. Must be different if you are living in LA.

So how is your webmaster life

Sorry to hear that, I love my life! :thumbsup

sickbeatz 07-27-2005 02:03 AM

My eyes hurt right now. I think I've been looking at too much porn and not sleeping enough lately.

Theo 07-27-2005 02:03 AM

tical 07-27-2005 02:04 AM

DWB 07-27-2005 02:05 AM

I enjoy my life. When I work... I WORK. When I play... oh my. Shit can get out of hand.

Dark Knight 07-27-2005 02:06 AM

it is not that i don't enjoy my life it is just that it is not at fabulouse as i think it could be and that many because i am in europe. As i hear about all the parties and get to gethers in the states

polish_aristocrat 07-27-2005 02:08 AM

most people arent making that much money that would put them in the same league as the pop stars that you mentioned

Yeah Europe seems way stuffy. Nobody parties like Americans - consider moving!!! :pimp

digi 07-27-2005 02:12 AM

why do you have to go to a webmaster party? Im sure in all of europe there is at least one party you can go to.

Also, Ive noticed a lot of webmasters who make a lot of money seems to be glued to the computer screen 24 hours/day. I personally don't see the point in making money if you're not going to do anything with it. I much rather make a few hundred a day and be out there having fun, rather than making a few thousand and just sit in front of the computer :2 cents:

Dark Knight 07-27-2005 02:13 AM

where would i live, yeah i know i would go to malibu or around that area been there a couple of times and it looked all quite and peaceful att he water front. my kind of place. next to hollywood

If i had the money then i would get a house there but we are not the far. Plus don't know any one there. Maybe i will learn to know some people this half year as i am going to spend way more on gfy and other boards. never been much of a poster.

Theo 07-27-2005 02:15 AM

where are you in europe?

Dark Knight 07-27-2005 02:19 AM

At the moment i am based in Switzerland. yeah that is really rocking here. No it is beautifull just not much to do. Most people have regular jobs, at least that i know. But i will go to the Netherlands in a couple of days and stay there for about a year. KNow quite some people there

Theo 07-27-2005 02:23 AM

are you in Geneva? There's a lot of life there n' to do. Truth is no matter where you'll move after a while things won't look like the first day and more likely you'll get bored again.

coding_bug 07-27-2005 02:26 AM

yeah.. too much porn... can hurt your vision... lolz..

that is always a tendency i guess.. so i guess you just have to learn to love what you do..and do what you love to do..

Looking outwards for satisfaction, can make you disillusioned. If you surround yourself with party people, and especially if everyone is into drugs, it can seem quite exhilirating. However it can also get tired, and you may come to see it as a superficial existence.

Focusing inwards forces you to challenge yourself more as a person, so while on the surface to others it might appear that your life is somewhat mundane, it can be personally quite fulfilling.

Having money opens many opportunities for you. As with most anything else in life you can view it not as a gift and squander it, or you can use it to enrich yourself by opening your world to new experiences and ways of looking at life.

Personally, although I can be gregarious in social situations, I am actually very much of an introvert. I can be satisfied spending long hours in front of a computer smonitor. Still, I manage to make time to get out and travel and experience things that others only dream of because it adds to the quality of my life and help makes my work more creative and alive.

Unless we are a victim of unfortunate circumstances (as so many in the world are), we have the ability to create our own happiness. When you learn how to do that, then you can exponentially increase your happiness no matter what your lot in life is.

Webmasters have the potential to generally do something creative. If what you are creating reflects your vision and feels creative, and if you are making a living at it, then no matter what level of further monetary success you experience, you should feel fulfilled. Afterall, many people have a much more difficult life.

In my case, I am very optimistic about the future, and I love the plans which I am laying the foundation for now.

I just live a simple life, not having those too expensive gadgets or jewelries and fancy cars. All i want is just to provide my family their needs and most specially to give my wife a happy life.

PlugRush Sascha 07-27-2005 04:37 AM

Shit, I spend my money on traveling and I live in Europe (Germany) and I've never had a problem with a lack of partying. I could go out and get plastered with motherfuckers every single night of the week, if I wanted to subject myself to that.

I just went to San Antonio and Toronto just to chill, party and go sightseeing for the last 4 weeks. It was an awesome trip and I'll be sure to go back to both places in the near future.

Working... right now, I do maybe 2 hours of actual work per day and make enough money to support myself. If I turn it into an 8 hour day, I'll still have the same amount of free time someone else with a regular job has and I'll probably be making more money than them. That's all I want. I could care less about being filthy rich and driving a Porsche. Fuck that, I'll spend my money on seeing the world and meeting new people.

Where at in Europe do you live? I didn't realize there's a lack of crazy bastards to party with here. You can't tell me Switzerland doesn't know how to party! Have you been to Zurich? I don't even speak Swiss German and I still had the time of my life there when I went last summer. I covered that place in vomit!

It seems to me that you're a bit uptight if you think the only parties are in LA. Get the fuck off your computer and off your ass, then go have some fun! The summertime is a crazy time to be working your ass off in my opinion.

Yeah you are right summer is no time to work but with the new projects that i am running i have keep working or things will go wrong. Next year i will be chilling. I will come to germany and we will party. I love to party. Ok when i was in amsterdam for a week it was all party. Maybe it is because i don't know many people here in Switzerland yet. That must be it.

That could be it, but you won't meet new people with that attitude. Just be the craziest motherfucker at the party and people will come to you. I didn't know a lot of people in Toronto (just my friends that I was hanging out with) and I still managed to meet tons of new people. It's like that everywhere. Just put yourself out there and you'll meet some interesting people.
