fuck me my arms hurt, hey I benched like 100 pounds, I'm leet yo. im miami, ill be fat and hairy with sore arms! :disgust I hear thuogh if you can make it to a gym like 3 times in a row, it gets addictive... |
i go about 3-4 times a week. your bench will go up quick.

it will only be sore for a few days, after a while you wont really get that sore after you work out. it is pretty addictive.

that's a good sign that you're working your muscles out. that will only take a few days then you'll get the hang of it..

Make sure you do some stretching and don't give up. It definately gets much easier. Also, make sure you're eating right. After about 3-4 weeks of dedication you'll be hooked and feel much better about yourself.

What you are experiencing is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). It hits hardest 24 to 48 hours after your workout. Working out should not hurt. Sore yes, hurting is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. Do yourself a favor, get a trainer. :) |

Congrats on going! I'm not a gym person myself, but I can tell you that martial arts got addicting right away. During the show me and some other people plan on hitting the gym each morning at 8am - would love to see you there! Keep up the good work and it does get better. It amazes me how quickly you get into shape. if you start hitting the gym a few times a week you look great after just a few months.

i went for 4 months before i canceld my gym membership, it is addicting!
i used to get really on-edge & pissy if i didnt work out that day. i only canceld my membership cuz i dont have time to drive 30 mins each way plus 2 hours to work out. its easier for me to work out at home. i do cardio & 30 mins of muscle toning every other day. |
