BrettJ and I started DormBucks as equal partners Feb of 2001. It is both bitter and sweet but as of August 1st of this year I am selling my share of the company to Brett. A scant few of you are aware that about a month ago, Brett and I came to the decision that he would purchase my half of DormBucks. We reached the agreement on great terms, and both of us are happy with the outcome. It was not a choice either of us was forced into, and we look forward to what will happen next with the greatest of enthusiasm.

I am leaving DormBucks to pursue other ventures, including some offline brick and mortar ideas that I?ve been working on for several years. It is more a time of great excitement rather than mourning, but I will surely be saddened by our parting of ways.

To dispel any questions or doubts I?d like it to be clear that I am leaving the industry for personal reasons. DormBucks is at the top of our game, and we are, and have always been, a TOP NOTCH company to work with. Brett is quite possibly the most honest and stand-up person I?ve ever met, and he will continue to take DormBucks down the road of success along with the rest of the guys here.

It has Truly been a pleasure Brett. I wish you the best of luck in everything, even though it is already on your side. I couldn?t wish for a better business partner to work next to.

After working with Tim since August of 1999, I can honestly say I couldn?t have picked a better business partner. While it?ll be weird to not be working side by side with my best friend I?m glad to see that it?s happening on great terms and very excited about what the future is going to bring to both of us.

Tim and I have been working on the buy-out for the past couple of months. While I'll definately notice his absence, the company started to take the necessary steps a month ago to ensure a smooth transition.

Well ? here?s to a great partnership and to a prosperous future for everybody!!

Yes, its true. Don't buy this "friendly parting" bullshit. After many years of being Tim's sexual bitch and slave, I strayed once and caused a problem. Brett was in Mexico, the sun, the booze, and all those margaritas. Bad luck for us, the pool boy was an amateur webmaster, and sold the pics to Tim. Their breakup is all my fault, I confess.

IN ALL seriousness. Sorry to see you guys part ways, but I'm glad to see it happen on good terms. As a past business associate of both of you, I know you will both be successful in your ventures (no Tim, not the fuckin Coffee Stand idea again!!!!). You are both stand up guys and ethical businessmen. Best of luck to both of you. I enjoyed working, living, farting around with both of you. I've been working for Dormbucks for about 6 months now and believe Brett and Tim to be the best employers I've ever had.
