Where are all the programmers, designers?
 

I've done call outs for both and not much comes back. And the ones that I do follow up with don't follow back up with me.

Doesn't anyone need a gig or two?

I have 2 in cue...

one programming, PHP MySQL blah blah

the other building a bridge website for a mainstream/adult print company. Not too elaborate, quick money.

I've had the same problem.

Post a thread about designers, 30 replies. Post one about programers and nothing. Programmers + Marketing = 0

ok after tossing the specs to like 8 people, only 2 came back. one for design and then one for programming that priced it way to frigging high.

I never heard back from anyone else. Ok, I guess its time to give the biz to someone on Craigs list

Love to help you out, but my co. is full to the rafters with work. None more available hours to be doled out. (Yes, I am vetting some additional help).

That said, I'm curious as to what you consider "way to frigging high". Maybe you're expecting low level code monkeys to plug away at code for $5.50/hr? :winkwink:

I respect the experience of programmers and they deserve their worth. The one that came in too frigging high was $3k and another $5k over another quote so there you go.

I think someone came to the rescue for these projects. If it doesn't work out, everyone on thread can expect me to hit them up for sure.
