    Good Hotels in Munich For Octoberfest?

    Hey guys, a few of us are heading over to Munich to enjoy the beginning of Octoberfest in Munich. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good hotel?

      I stayed at the best western cristal when i was in munich three weeks ago. It's only a **** hotel but still nice.
      I stayed there because I get a 60% best western discount

      when will you be down there - datewise?

                  you have to... the longer you wait the smaller are your chances to get a room.
                  People reserve rooms over a year in advance. munich during octoberfest is CRAZY. I was there last year actually with a couple of friends from zurich
