Someone on TV described the sound near the launch site as 100 simultaneous extended thunderclaps.

I didn't get a pic, I didn't think of it!!!

I'm in West Palm Beach, thats about 45-50 minutes south of the launch site.

But they were saying on the radio, that up to about 8 miles away, the groud shakes.
