Btw, there's fireworks happening at English Bay on the next 2 Wed and Sats. About 300,000 people come out so it's pretty fun :2 cents:

mrkris 07-25-2005 06:16 PM

Yep, for the next few years anyway... Spending the summer in Halifax, then I'm moving to Costa Rica in September.

I'll be in Vancouver for Christmas though...

WarChild 07-25-2005 07:58 PM

Yeah and the very best part about the fireworks are the roaming groups of drunken East Indians. Enjoyable, for sure!

probably 6:30ish on Saturday. Downtown Vancouver. Doesn't reallymatter though, i'd just rather not drive much further away from the border since we'd be driving home after din-din

JD 07-26-2005 02:28 PM

bump for the canadians:thumbsup

Like other people already mentioned, there are Fireworks that night in English Bay in downtown Vancouver. Downtown will be shit packed. At least 1 million people will be watching the fireworks from all over including boats, apartments and at the beaches. Afterwards, they all try and leave, it's complete caos usually. Every street by the beach looks like oceans of people walking. Driving downtown will be close to impossible if they let you down there at all. :Oh crap

I am in vancouver for this week.

And I happen to have a ocean view apartment on Beach Ave.

Who wants to party during the fireworks?

I can see the fireworks ship docked directly infront of my living room.

ServerProvider.Com clients are more than welcome to come by during the firework nights, bring friends, family its open house to all SP clients . Drinks on me :thumbsup :thumbsup

Haha, Seattle isn't that bad :P

Most of downtown is relatively flat. It's going to be a traffic *nightmare* if you go on a fireworks night though.

it is pretty bad sometimes. its full of jack offs that get 2 inches from my bumper on a hill that would make my car roll back a good foot or so before moving forward.

If it gets to slammed, then we will probably stay the night .. ugh .. but if that is the case, breakfast with MC would rock.
