Added new gun to my collection (pic)

Finanlly grabbed a Glock19, got a great deal and couldn't resist. i'm happy with my Glock27, but the 9mm has it's advantages. Nice gun, and light. Also a lot easier to shoot accurately than the G27 which is a sub compact with a high caliber round and a very small grip.

Between $500 and $600. I got this special order with the extra 15 (5 extra in each) round mags and a 5lb trigger pull (I like it better than the hair trigger it comes with) for $420. Good Deal.

Sweet piece. I like the S&W centenial 5 shot revolver as a concealed everday carry also, it's tiny and for such a smal gun it packs a nice .38 round.. S&W makes great guns. I just like the way the Glock fits into your side with a low profile pancake holster, thats why I favor them a bit more though. but everyone has a preference.

Yes I went through a full 50 hrs of tactical training by police and FBI instructors and I requalify every year at a local range run by the sheriff's department. I suggest everyone take a good program. Not just for safety's sake, but truth is that more guns are used against their own owners than on perps...you need to know how to use it, defend it, and some law knowlege doesn't hurt so you don't get sued or indicted if you ever have to use it.

I had to because of NY's tough laws, but everyone should, it may save your life and freedom.

Finally found a SIG 229 .40 in Costa Rica (For $1450 though because everything is fucking expensive in Costa Rica)

Only problem is that it's going to take 4 months. Seriously considering a Glock19 in the mean time.

DAMN Nice choice! I've had my Glock19 for a number of years and never had any problems. I like the medium frame size better than the sub-compact, it just has that better balance feel to it. Very accurate right out of the box with Winchester 115 GR Silvertip HP ammo.

On that note, these airsoft guns are a lot of fun, accurate, and very realistic as well as inexpensive (and LEGAL). We have about a dozen of them in the office and gunfights breakout on a daily basis. We have p238's glocks with laser sights, and an AK...much fun. I just have to be carful they don't get mixed up with my real one...lol

at 210 FPS, they will leave a good mark if you get hit, what fun would it be without danger. I highly suggest them as a "toy". Just don't walk in a bank with em or show it to a cop...

Wear ANSI Z87.1 googles or paintball masks when shooting airsoft guns at each other and you will be fine.. I've got a bunch myself.

The springers are novelties, but the electric & gas are a blast. I've got a Glock 18c, goes full auto, and they make high capacity magazines for it.

g19 is a decent gun... but the 27 which is a 40cal is much more accurate and more stopping power.. with the 9 just make sure to double tap maybe even tripple tap.. which is a waste of ammo IMO.. but I am a military vet it was beat in my head... I carry a 9mm as my backup either the g19 or the taurus pt111 and I shoot a very hott round through it... make sure you get the ranger 127gr +p+ round.. very hott and comes out like a 357.. it's the new law enforcement version of the black talon... great round.. I carry the 180 gr in my 40 and the 127 in my 9.. you can get a 147 for the 9 but the 127 is where it's at cause it's a much hotter round.. if you want some tips or advise on what to get or what not to get hit me up...

I have to say ... that these days ... the chances of me needing it on the streets in my area would be slim ... but i do have a temper and i do get in altercations at times all over the island good and bad areas ... and you never know what they have ... i wouldn't pull it out do to anger but if i see one coming out you can bet I'm pulling first ..

I real would tuck it just because i don't even like a phone on my side .. i got the razor so it would fit flat in my back pocket .. just don't want to carry something big and in the way ..

And yes i have had reason to carry in the past ..... i will not get into it here .. ask me at a show .... and yes that's all in my past .. so don't question if I'm an honest guy ... i am ..

For real those airsoft guns are 2 much fun. I been into them for about 6-8 months now an have been through about 6 of 'em. Currently I've got a .50 cal. Desert Eagle, a Belgium P90 and this chromed out riot shotgun that is just sick cuz it shoots so hard it ALWAYS breaks the bb on your ass. When that bb breaks in half, its like 2 lil razor sharp half moons...i can't tell you how many times after a party or just hangin with my bro an bro-n-law i've got bloody holes in my dome or my body.

They do look real too, they pay very close attention to detail when they manufacture them, at least most of them do. With the exception of the federally mandated 'orange tips' to signify a fake gun, they weigh, and look almost identical to the real gun. For my purposes, I always buy the appropriate spray paint color an paint the orange tips off...

We often use guns for our kidnappings, and the guns gotta look real. If some fool ran up on you with an orange tip gunned, you'd prolly laugh, I know I would! So we paint 'em, an they look real.

I gotta say tho you should always wear eye protection when fuckin wit these guns, they shoot so hard if you get hit in the eye your losin it. I got hit one time in the eye, and by the grace of GOD i blinked right when it hit...i was f'd up for about 3 days but I was ok, if i didn't blink, I'd be wearin a eyepatch now an sayin 'yeeaargh' like that pirate dude on here.

if you looked around on gunbroker.com you could have prolly picked one up with the same stuff, around same price, but also with built in laser.
